October 25, 1998: I like the black-and-white theme we used for the main promo block and the Halloween-themed Felicity episode we were promoting, though at least in the screenshot, the link text on the black background made the link text unreadable. (Presumably, it said "Television.") If I recall correctly, in the pre-CSS era, we didn't have much control over the link text colors for every link state:
