January 22, 1999: Our Friday entertainment lead was Gillian Anderson from the now-forgotten ensemble movie Playing by Heart (I haven't seen it, but it sounds like a proto-Love Actually). Her plot segment had her paired with Jon Stewart.

The other promos featured getaway travel bargains and online clothes shopping.
